On the ballot this November will be the question: "Shall the Town of Fishers and Fall Creek Township Reorganize into one Political Subdivision"
If this reorganization wins, you lose your right to vote directly for your mayor. The mayor is appointed by the City Council if this public question wins. You have no choice who he or she is.
If you do not like a city either a Traditional City or Hybrid City, you also lose your right to stay a town, which is the second public question.
The first question trumps the second public question on the ballot. For example, if you want to stay a town on the second public question, you would vote NO on the City / Town question. You must also vote NO on the first question.
Residents that want to stay a town, must vote NO and NO.
For those residents that want to directly elect their mayor, you would vote YES on Question 2. You must also vote NO on question 2.
No voter should vote YES on the first question and YES on the second question.
To stay a town or directly vote for your mayor, the voter should vote NO to Public Question #1.
